Altair HyperMesh
The world's leading finite element preprocessor
Currently, the emergence of CAE software has brought an important step forward in design. Moreover, the development of CAE software is increasingly enhanced to give the analysis results to achieve high accuracy. In the simulation process, the meshing of the 3D model is crucial, affecting the analysis results later. The more accurately meshing the 3D model, the simulation time will be reduced and the results obtained are highly reliable. HyperMesh is a dedicated software for meshing simulation. HyperMesh software that is part of the Hyperworks suite is one of the software suites specializing in computation and analysis: mechanical, thermal and frequency oscillation.
1. What is Altair HyperMesh?
Altair Hypermesh is an advanced finite element preprocessing tool that provides an intuitive and friendly environment for product design analysis. Compatibility with most of today's popular CAD software and support for other CAE software and an easy-to-use system of tools for CAE model building and editing make HyperMesh a solution. The simulation is perfect for almost any field of force.
2. The benefits of the Altair HyperMesh software
Open interface structure
Interoperable with most CAD and CAE software available today, HyperMesh is suitable for any simulation environment.
Create high quality mesh quickly
Simple modeling process with manual or automatic meshing tools, solving simple to complex models.
Model building and assembly
Part Library is used to manage, control, and update bidirectional linked assembly model to PDM to seamlessly import or export data, Part Library is used to manage, control, and update part modifications, facilitate interaction between working groups both at home and abroad.
Improve the efficiency of model processing for the user
Using advanced Batch mesh technology, HyperMesh eliminates manual mesh and geometry data editing thus accelerating model development.
Advanced 3D modeling
The ability to display the 3D environment of all element types (1D, 2D, 3D) in a FEA model reduces model inspection and verification.
Set up the model
A complex set of tools for efficient modeling. Model ID management ensures that all the details of a model conform to a designated digital scheme of a workgroup or company. HyperMesh provides auto-connect technology for assembling hundreds of components using welds, welds and bolts. Automated link management tools are a huge time saver when defining relationships between individual parts.
Modeling of composite materials
Modeling composite materials according to the shape of each layer and stacking sequence.
3. Features of Altair Hypermesh
HyperMesh features easy-to-use advanced tools for building and editing CAE models for both 2D and 3D models, users have access to a wide range of meshing capabilities, as well as a powerful automated division module. powerful in Hypermesh.
Surfacmeshing
The surface mesh module in HyperMesh is a powerful tool for creating meshes with maximum flexibility and efficiency. This includes the ability to adjust a variety of mesh parameters, optimize the mesh based on a set of user-defined quality criteria, and create a mesh using a variety of advanced techniques.
Grid Block (Solid)
Based on 3D geometry data, HyperMesh can use standard and advanced processes to connect or split models for Tetra meshing or Hexa meshing. Split models quickly and easily when combined with HyperMesh's powerful visualizations for 3D geometry. This allows to save more time for geometrical preparation for 3D meshing. The 3D meshing modules quickly generate high-quality meshes for a wide variety of geometries.
Mesh has high reliability
- Mesh surface
- Hexagonal grid (Hexa)
- Tetra grid (Tetra)
- CFD mesh for fluid simulation
- Mesh used for analysis of hydrodynamics (SPH mesh), weapon movement trajectory (projectile trajectory, explosive process)
Morphing grid
Hypermorph is a great function of the Hypermesh module that allows easy interaction and modification of geometrical parameters and finite element models. This unique approach allows to speed up the customization of the geometry model on a finite element grid without affecting the mesh quality or customization on node indices or element indices. Hypermorph can be used to dynamically generate different geometrical models during design optimization research.
Batch meshing
The BatchMesher module in Hypermesh is the fastest way for automating high-quality finite-element meshing for large assembly models. By minimizing manual meshing tasks, this automated mesh technology gives more time to useful engineering simulation operations. BatchMesher provides user controls over mesh areas, geometry error correction parameters as well as the ability to export to customize individual model format files.
CAD interoperability
Hypermesh has direct readers of today's popular 3D CAD data. Furthermore, HyperMesh will automatically remove / add missing data such as gaps, overlapping surfaces, missing surfaces, ... of CAD data to maximize mesh quality. By eliminating false data, holes, and hiding unnecessary edges, users can mesh mesh quickly while ensuring the quality of the mesh. Boundary conditions can also be applied to these surfaces for future verification of element data. Hypermesh allows reading data directly from 3D CAD software: CATIA V4 / V5; Pro-e; Unigraphic (NX); ACIS; IGS; Parasolid; Step; JT Precise:
