Altair HyperView
Tool for reporting and visualizing simulation results
Altair HyperView is a complete post-processing tool with intuitive environment for finite element analysis (FEA), multi-object system simulation, digital video and engineering data. Smooth 3D graphics, an open architecture design and powerful functions, set a new standard for speed and interoperability for the results of CAE simulations. Combining these features with Hyperview's advanced automation tools greatly improves results display, comparison and reporting.
1. Benefits of reading software Altair HyperView results
1.1. Improve productivity
- Industry leading 3D graphics solution
- Read CAE results directly from common solvers
- Powerful 2D and 3D chart export tool
- Customize the interface and create specialized tools to suit your own technical environments and needs
- Direct link to Altair HyperView Player makes web communication and collaboration easy
1.2. Easily evaluate analysis results through the following features:
- Synchronize and display FEA analysis results, results from multiple systems, export 2D graphs and videos
- Stack multiple CAE models on one window
- Displays multiple models and result types
- Model queries are based on user criteria
- Automatically generate reports
- Automatically build tasks: Automatically generate and present standard graphs, statistics tables, and quickly compare results and equivalent studies using the "Report: Overlay" option
- Quick Report Generation: Export data from HyperView to HTML or export to Powerpoint format including text files, animations
1.3. Expand the user interface
- Create mathematical graphs, perform data analysis, record annotation information, label names, and parameterize any text files
- Custom tasker: Provides user-self-development tools, defines menus for easy access to reports, macro charts, and other custom tips
- TCL programming tool: Automate tasks through Tcl / Tk programming scripts
- Import and Export Form: Defines custom import and export forms for reading and writing 2D data
2. Simulation animation and data chart
HyperView provides a full suite of interactive animations, data graphs, and digital video functions for improved results rendering, analysis and comparison. Its synchronization capabilities allow the user to review model integrity. By extending HyperView's post-processing engine platform users can easily synchronize, compare and display FEA results, multi-object system results, XY charts (simulation or testing). data) and digital video data at the same time in the same environment.
2.1. Animations
- Contour (scalar & tenx)
- Vector chart
- Tenx chart
- Deformation chart
- CFD line chart
- Linear animation
- Instant animations
- Animations of multi-object dynamics including distortion in details
To aid correlation comparison between results, HyperView provides video and image tools that direct users to combine test data with simulation results.
3. HyperView also supports other parts
- Display separate drawings
- Display surfaces in 3-dimensional space
- Reconstruct detailed models
- Interactive cross-sections
- Dynamic graphics
- Draw a force diagram
4. Generate reports
Creating a standard report is made easy with Hypergraph using the Publish PowerPoint feature along with the report formatting functionality, and content is synced across apps. Users have detailed control over the format and content to be extracted. This utility supports all popular video and graphic formats today.
5. HyperView Player
HyperView Player is a standalone 3D viewer for visualizing enterprise product data. Users can export 3D animation results in Altair's compact H3D format. Can be viewed and manipulated in HyperView Player. The video player can be inserted into a PowerPoint presentation or a web page, making it the ideal solution for effectively interpreting analysis results to viewers.
6. Interfacing with solvers
HyperView supports most popular solver formats using direct readers, providing flexible and consistent high-performance post-processing environments for creating animations and CAE chart simulation results. Furthermore, the format of the solver can be supported through the user-defined result compiler to convert the results into Altair's H3D binary format archive. HyperWorks also provides two interpreters: HvTrans and HgTrans, for working with any technical data type. HvTrans allows you to extract, compile, and compress CAE results while HgTrans allows you to convert, compress, and process math data files.
Hyperview supports reading of the following solvers:
- Altair Radioss
- Altair OptiStruct
- Altair MotionSolve
- Abaqus
- Adams
- ADVC
- ANSYS
- DADS
- LLNL DYNA
- LS-DYNA
- MADYMO
